Key Stage 4

Meaning

Femtometres (fm) are a unit of distance, displacement and wavelength 1,000,000,000,000,000 times smaller than the SI Unit; the Metre.

About Femtometres

Femtometres are shortened to fm with a lower case f and a lower case m.
Pico means one quadrillionth so there are 1,000,000,000,000,000 femtometres in a Metre.
