Lift is a force made by a wing that acts upwards when the wing moves forwards.
About Lift
- Lift is a force so it is measured in Newtons.
- Lift is a contact force because it can only act when an object is in a fluid.
- Lift is caused by a shape called an aerofoil.
As the wing moves from right to left it produces lift. |
