Key Stage 1
Meaning
A thing made of material that can be seen or touched.
About Objects
Objects are made out of materials. A tree is an object that is made out of wood. A human is an object made out of bones, muscle and blood. Sometimes an object can have the same name as the material it is made from; like a glass that your drink from is made of a material called glass which is hard and see through, but a window is also made of glass and you can't drink out of a window.
Examples
This object is a table. | Stars are bright objects in the sky. | A mountain is an object. |
The sea is a very large object made of salty water. | A bird is an object. | A scientist is also an object. |
