Meaning
Acid + Metal Hydroxide → Metal Salt + Water is the general equation for a neutralisation reaction between a Metal Hydroxide and an acid.
About 'Acid + Metal Hydroxide' Reactions
- Acid + Metal Hydroxide reactions are exothermic so the there will be a temperature rise.
- The reaction between a Metal Hydroxide and an acid produces water
- The reaction between a Metal Hydroxide and an acid produces a Metal Salt.
