Meaning
A Metal Hydroxide is a basic metal compound made of one or more Metal atoms and one or more Hydroxides that have the formula OH.
About Metal Oxides
- Metal Hydroxides have a pH greater than 7
- All Metal Hydroxides dissolve in water to make an alkali.
Examples
Group 1 Metal Hydroxides | Group 2 Metal Hydroxides | Transition Metal Hydroxides | Group 3 Metal Hydroxides |
