Meaning

Gasoline is a fraction of Crude Oil which has a Carbon chain length of around 5-10 Carbon atoms.

About Gasoline

Gasoline is a hydrocarbon because it is a molecule made of only Hydrogen and Carbon atoms.
Gasoline is used in cars and as a feedstock for the manufacture of plastics.
