- Oils are usually more viscous than water.
- Oil does not mix with water.
- Crude Oil is a hydrocarbon oil.
- Oil can refer to the liquid lipids in our diet such as Sunflower Oil or Olive Oil.
- The lipid form of oil are referred to as unsaturated due to double bonds between Carbon atoms which reduces the number of Hydrogen atoms in the molecule.
