Many illnesses are caused by tiny creatures that live on our skin and in our mouths. If don't clean them off we get more and more of them and they can make us ill. We must clean our teeth to stop them from rotting. We must clean our skin to stop us getting rashes. We must clean our hands especially after going to the toilet and touching animals because if we put our hands in our mouths or touch our food we could be putting many of these tiny creatures into our mouths and they can cause us to get a stomach bug.
