Meaning
Carbohydrases are a group of digestive enzymes which break down complex carbohydrates into simple sugars.
About Carbohydrase
There are three main carbohydrases in the human digestive system that you should know:

| Salivary Amylase | Starch | Maltose | The salivary glands in the mouth. |
| Pancreatic Amylase | Starch | Maltose | The pancreas and released into the Small Intestine. |
