The Dalton Model is a model of the atom which shows atoms as a ball shaped object.

The Dalton Model is a simple model of the atom which makes it easier to use the Particle Model to explain the States of Matter and to represent molecules.

The Dalton Model is not true, but is a useful model to help describe atoms.
