Positive Charge
Contents
Key Stage 3
Meaning
Positive Charge is a property of matter that can cause an electrostatic force between objects.
About Positive Charge
- Positive charge is the opposite of a negative charge.
- Positive charges repel one another.
- A positive charge is attracted to a negative charge.
- Positive Charges create an electrostatic field which affects other charged objects.
- Protons are the particle that carries positive charge. If a particle has more protons in it than electrons then it will be positively charged.
