About Cellular Respiration

Respiration usually uses a sugar called glucose which is broken down into smaller molecules releasing energy for the cell.
In animal and plant cells respiration takes place in the mitochondria.
In bacteria respiration takes place in the cytoplasm.
Respiration can be aerobic which uses Oxygen or anaerobic which happens without Oxygen.
